The protected horticulture · plant factory exhibition 2018 (GPEC) was officially launched on July 11 for 3 days. The exhibition hall is located in the East E1-E2 Exhibition Hall of the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.

GPEC, sponsored by the Japan Facilities Horticultural Association, is the first professional trade exhibition for greenhouse gardening and plant factory technology in Japan. It is held every two years. Each session is held in July. This year is the fifth session. Up to now, the name "GPEC" has been known by most relevant people in the industry.

GPEC exhibits include: solar plant plants, fully artificial lighting plant plants, facilities, equipment and materials related to greenhouse gardening and plant plants (such as seedlings/seedling system/cultivation materials/pollinators, agricultural information and communication technology, environmental controller/various sensors/measuring systems, fertilizer/agricultural chemical materials/natural enemy insect materials/IPM), as well as distribution, processing, sales Lease/financing/producer support, etc.

SmartAgri NEWS4 exhibition will also be held at the same time. Among them, there will be product demonstrations in precision agriculture.

Suzuki Water Film Co., Ltd. and AGC Green-Tech Co., Ltd. are film manufacturers in Japan. These two companies participated in the GPEC as exhibitors. Shanghai Nongsheng Company is the distributor of Juhua Shuishui and AGC in China. As a representative of Nongsheng, Laofang also went to Japan to participate in the exhibition.
