Plant growth mechanism

Photosynthesis refers to the process that green plants use light energy to hydrate carbon dioxide and water into organic substances that store energy, and release oxygen at the same time.

A. When changing from strong light to weak light, the amount of [H] and ATP produced decreases. At this time, the reduction process of C3 is weakened, while CO2 is still fixed to a certain extent in a short time, so the content of C3 increases, the content of C5 decreases, and the synthesis rate of (CH2O) also decreases.

B. When the concentration of CO2 decreases, the fixation of CO2 decreases, so the amount of C3 produced decreases and the consumption of C5 decreases, while the C3 of cells is still reduced and regenerated at the same time, so at this time, the content of C3 decreases and the content of C5 increases.

Plant photosynthesis process: carbon dioxide+water → organic matter (storing energy)+oxygen

Key factors: photosynthesis intensity, oxygen, ventilation, temperature, water

Respiratory action

After a series of oxidation and decomposition of organic matter in the cell, Z eventually generates carbon dioxide or other products and releases energy, which is called respiration. Respiration is a chemical process in which organisms oxidize and decompose organic matter in cells and generate energy. It is a vital activity of all animals and plants. All biological activities need to consume energy, which comes from the oxidative decomposition of organic substances such as carbohydrates, lipids and proteins. The oxidative decomposition of organic matter in organisms provides energy for life, which is of great significance.

Key factors: respiration and photosynthesis influence each other. Organic matter and oxygen produced by photosynthesis affect respiration, and carbon dioxide produced by respiration affects photosynthesis intensity.

Transpiration

The process of water loss from the surface of living plants (mainly leaves) to the atmosphere in the form of water vapor is different from the evaporation process in physics. Transpiration is not only affected by external environmental conditions, but also regulated and controlled by plants themselves, so it is a complex physiological process. The main process is: water in soil → root hairs → root ducts → stem ducts → leaf ducts → stomata → atmosphere. When the plant is young, all surfaces exposed to the air can transpiration.
