Hole seedling seeding

The cultivation substrate should be at least 5mm. Only under the action of gravity can the water in the cultivation substrate seep out. It is not recommended to use bleach or hydrogen for cleaning, because chlorine will have chemical changes with the plastic in the acupoint plate, resulting in toxic substances.




Selection of matrix:

A better culture medium should have the following characteristics: idealized water volume; Good drainage capacity and gas volume; It is easy to get wet again; Good porosity and uniform gap; The transport organization structure is relatively stable with less smoke and dust; Appropriate PH value, 5.5-6.5; It contains an appropriate amount of nutrients, which can ensure the requirements of young leaves for nutrients; The salt water level is very low, EC is lower than 0.7 (1:2 dilution method); The grain size of cultivation medium is uniform; No plant diseases, pests and weeds; The quality of each batch of cultivation substrate is consistent.

Because the role of ceramsite with relatively small particles is to improve the water conservation and power generation of the cultivation medium, rather than porosity. It will improve the drainage pipe performance and permeability of peat soil cultivation substrate, and choose to add vitrified beads instead of ceramsite. On the other hand, if you want to improve hydropower, you can add a certain amount of granular ceramsite.

1. The culture medium should be fully soaked before filling, generally 60% is the most suitable. Hold the cultivation substrate with your hands, without water extrusion. If you release your hand, you will agglomerate, but if you touch it gently, the cultivation substrate will disperse. Don't be too dry. After watering in the future, the cultivation substrate will collapse, resulting in poor permeability and poor rhizome growth and development.

2. The filling level of each acupoint should be uniform, otherwise the drying speed of the acupoint with smaller matrix is faster, which makes the water management method unbalanced;

3. The acupoint cultivation substrate for planting large seeds such as melons and vegetables should not be too full;

4. Prevent the cultivation substrate from extruding, otherwise it will damage the permeability and drying rate of the cultivation substrate. Because the cultivation substrate pressure is too tight, the seeds will rebound, resulting in different final germination depth of the seeds.

Note: The hole depth should be consistent to ensure the planting depth is also consistent.

Symmetrical covering
