The first full set of automatic asexual seedling production line in China was unveiled!

At present, domestic chrysanthemum planting in large greenhouse is still dominated by artificial planting, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. There will also be problems such as inconsistent root depth of cuttings planted in the bed, damaging the root of cuttings, resulting in low survival rate of chrysanthemum seedlings and poor growth.

However, as a major agricultural producer in the Netherlands, chrysanthemum growers have started to use a full set of automatic production equipment many years ago. The entire automatic production process of chrysanthemum is simple and labor-saving. Only a few people can control a few hectares, even dozens of hectares of chrysanthemum production greenhouse.

In view of the automatic planting experience of Dutch chrysanthemum growers, Shanghai Nongsheng Modern Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. successfully introduced a complete set of automatic chrysanthemum seedling cultivation equipment for Chongming chrysanthemum base of Shanghai Honghua Horticultural Company in January 2022.

Chongming International Chrysanthemum Ecological Park is an important layout for Shanghai Honghua Horticultural Co., Ltd. to develop smart agriculture, which is operated and managed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai Ganghong Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. The project plans to cover a total area of 213 mu, including 80 mu of intelligent glass greenhouse, to build a multi-functional chrysanthemum ecological park integrating the preservation of chrysanthemum germplasm resources, research and development of new varieties of chrysanthemum, smart factory of cut chrysanthemum, and agricultural tourism education.

The cut flower factory of Chongming International Chrysanthemum Ecological Park has created a large-scale chemical factory production mode of cut flower chrysanthemum by building a smart chrysanthemum agricultural system, and combining with modern agricultural technologies such as all-weather light and temperature control system, high-efficiency water and fertilizer integrated irrigation system, automatic lifting net system, underground drainage system, mechanized harvesting and packaging system, to realize the annual production of cut flower chrysanthemum, and improve the production efficiency by 4-5 times. Through the introduction and absorption of modern advanced horticultural technology and the convergence of chrysanthemum production technology, Chongming International Chrysanthemum Ecological Park will become a display and sharing platform for "Honghua Chrysanthemum" and Chongming to build a world ji ecological island.

The seedling factory of Chongming International Chrysanthemum Ecological Park has improved the level of intelligence and accelerated the realization of "machine replacement" in the seedling industry by introducing modern agricultural facilities and equipment. The automatic chrysanthemum seedling cutting system adopted in this project, combined with the efficient automatic matrix block pressing system, can realize the automatic identification and grasping of cuttings by robots, complete the seedling cutting work, greatly improve the operation efficiency, reduce energy consumption and cost, and realize the intelligent and industrialized chrysanthemum seedling cutting through modern information technology facilities and equipment and intelligent control technology.

 Honghua's full-automatic chrysanthemum production line includes automatic black soil matrix block production line, automatic cutting line, automatic seedling transplanter, etc. At present, all equipment has been commissioned on site.

 The automatic black soil matrix production line makes black soil matrix into a standard matrix suitable for the growth of chrysanthemum, which can well promote the root growth of cuttings.

The automatic cutting line can work together with the matrix block manufacturing equipment. The two production lines are connected. First, the main control computer of the cutting equipment will use infrared technology to identify the chrysanthemum cuttings with good growth and qualified status. When the manufactured black soil matrix block is transported to the automatic cutting line, the manipulator of the cutting machine will insert the cuttings that meet the specifications into the black soil matrix block.

The whole process needs only one person to operate, with high efficiency and high quality; It will ensure that the cuttings are in compliance with the growth trend, and the cutting depth is uniform, without damaging the root system.

The automatic seedling transplanter can set the rooting cuttings according to the specifications of the chrysanthemum net, automatically identify the chrysanthemum net area, and directly insert the black soil matrix block with the cuttings into the soil. The whole process is efficient, accurate, and the depth of the cuttings into the soil is uniform, and the seedlings will not be damaged during transplanting.
